I know the little tykes are just so cute, but they also don't perform on cue ften times.  My sister's wedding turned into nothing short of show & tell because of the kids.  But how does a parent politely refuse when a relative or friend ask for their child do be in the wedding?

Children can be a trouble sometimes but we the parents must take care of them so that we can make them sit in a place decently. Its our responsibility after all.

Maybe the best thing to do is to tell the person that while it's an honor to have your child asked to be in the wedding party you feel that your child might not be handle the situation and would enjoy the experience better as a spectator.
