We are considering getting married on a beach or outside but because of the laws we will be going to a registry office in the morning then having a humanist ceremony outdoors. This is the only solution I can find, you can still exchange rings and say your vows and what ever you want really!

does anyone know of any private own beach that may consider a ceromony on there beach. would be better if it was attached to a hotel as will need a back up plan for this weather!

Hi Everyone

We photographed a ceremony on Porthgwarra Beach, a beautiful cove owned by Lord St Levan.  The couple had done all the legal stuff in a registry office earlier in the day and had a special ceremony with friends & family at Porthgwarra. It was very intimate and picturesque.

We got married in Porthminster hotel then had out party right on Porthgwidden beach at the cafe in St Ives: it was very lovely. Kids playing on beach, we all had a swim and dolphins came to say hello!

that sounds really lovely. Did you have a back up plan if it was raining or was the cafe big enough? What is the name of the cafe? I will enquire. We want a relaxed do. Thanks

A wedding is a ceremony where two people are united in marriage. Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes. Most wedding ceremonies involve an exchange of marriage vows by the couple, presentation of a gift (offering, ring(s), symbolic item, flowers, money), and a public proclamation of marriage by an authority figure.

The secluded and private horseshoe-shaped cove at Lusty Glaze Beach provides the perfect setting for a romantic beach wedding in Cornwall.
